VISION AND MISSION

3. To promote the economy of the Republic of the Philippines and of the world.
4. To assist and protect every Filipino in terms of financial (pension, retirement, etc.), labor and social programs.
5. To promote Christianity (embarking on spreading the gospel of Christ. We will distribute free bibles periodically and award scholarships to applicants for schools of theology, a Christian initiative geared towards the development of body, soul and spirit especially among young generations boosting their self-respect and condemn the use of illicit drugs.
6. To assist local farmers in augmenting their farm’s productivity and its market shares.
7. To aim for our ultimate goal of solving poverty through sustainable livelihood projects and provide both small and large scale job opportunities suitable to one’s capabilities, skills and demands.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
The first objective is for the Foundation to support the government and humanitarian agencies in providing assistance through improved information management. The Foundation will provide service through basic qualitative and quantitative information concerning the condition of communities; whether evacuation, relocation, resettlement or return areas. Through improved systems of collecting, collating and disseminating information relating to beneficiaries, humanitarian agencies and government entities will be better placed to plan, respond, implement and provide required services in the most effective and appropriate way.
Given the limitations in resources and capacities of other stakeholders, including the government, these affected people and victims of disasters are in a phase of spontaneous return. However, little assistance is being given to affected communities to assist their early recovery. Recognizing the possibility of further displacements of affected communities, either through conflict or natural hazards, the Foundation will also help advocate for changes to existing policies, through close coordination with government and other private sectors. Joining hands in fulfilling both objectives for the national and economic recovery without sacrificing the Foundation’s major principles and mission. To provide for a vehicle whereby charitable messages would be communicated to the neediness in one hand and to eradicate poverty and diseases on the other. Support the government in addressing the humanitarian needs of affected populations in a timely manner.
-Promote a secured livelihood in economic and social terms and proper education for the less privileged.
-Serve as a tangible means to aid women, children, youth and those with disabilities.
-Support the government in addressing the humanitarian needs of affected populations in a timely manner.
-Establish structures and mechanisms to ensure the protection of vulnerable individuals and groups.
-Establish scholarship programs for orphans and less privileged children who have not had access to quality education.
-Ease the plight of widows through small business grants;
-Design and implement policies and programs that facilitate the development of the social and economic welfare of the under- privileged inhabitants of local communities.

NB MAHARLIKA TARGET PLANS
In an economic shorthand that was to be repeated many times in that coming years, our programs, in essence was described as resting on the following pillars:*
1. Stabilization – eradicating high inflation and establishing a stable convertible currency.
2. Liberalization – allowing markets to function freely by legalizing private economic activity, ending prior controls and limiting regulations; and establishing necessary commercial laws.
3. Privatization – identifying private owners for assets currently held by the people. These assets might be privatized in the form of entire enterprises, or piecemeal (machinery, buildings, land), depending on the circumstances.
4. Social Safety Net- pensions, health care, and other benefits for the disabled, the elderly and the poor to help cushion the transition.
